Campden Wealth is a membership organisation for ultra high-net worth family businesses in at least the second generation. For three years, I mingled with millionaires and billionaires as a senior writer, and later, the editor of the next-gen section.
Campden Wealth has two publications, Campden FB (family business) and Campden FO (family office). They include exclusive family interviews, in-depth sections on governance, finance, and the next generation, timely special reports, news analysis, comment and debate, and lifestyle features, reaching around 10,000 qualified families.
For me, the senior writer role had two parts: managing the website, finding and writing news, producing the newsletter and business roundup; and, writing content for the magazines. Mostly this included finding and interviewing next gens, adapting out family office report into a more digestible format, an helping to produce our various events, but particularly the Campden Wealth Family Business Awards.
Some of the most rewarding, engaging, and entertaining content of my career. The front cover below was a highlight, released during a more optimistic time preceding the Trump presidency towards the end of my tenure at Campden.
